Duties | Reporting to the CTO |
Strategic Planning and Management | Set IT goals; clear, strategic and aligned to the company’s goals and missions; Budget Management; Develop and manage the department’s budget ensuring cost effective use of resources. Upper Management Support; Ensure policies support strategies set by top management. |
Leadership and Team Management | Team building; Recruit, hire and retain top IT alent, create an innovative team culture. Performance management; Conduct regular performance reviews and provide feedback to the team members; Business Requirement Analysis; Check business requirements of departments and determine their technology needs. |
Systems Oversight | Information Technology Strategy; Develop and oversee the implementation of the information technology strategy, ensure alignment with business objectives. Quality Assurance; Ensure the team meets the highest IT standards of quality and reliability. Innovation and Improvement; Encourage innovation and continous improvement within the IT team |
Collaboration and Communication | Cross functional collaboration; Work closely with other departments to ensure alignment and project execution; Stakeholder Communication; Regularly update senior management on project status, risks and challenges. |
Operational Excellence | Process Improvement; Implement and optimize IT processes and workflows to increase efficiency and productivity; Risk Management; Identify potential risks and mitigation strategies to ensure project success Resource Allocation; Allocate resources optimally to support the business projects and needs. |
Technology and Infrastructure | Technology Stack decisions; Make decisions about the technology stack, tools and platforms used; Systems Infrastructure Management; Oversee the development and maintenance of the systems; Security and Compliance; Ensure that IT practices comply with industry standards and regulations. |

Education Bsc Comp. Science, Software Engineering or IT with 5 years experience in similar roles; MSc/MA will be a plus Certification in Microsoft and Linux System Administration will be prefferable | |
Essentials – Excellent Work Ethic – Advanced understanding of FTTH System, certifications will be an added advantage – Experience in Billing Systems Iintegration for FTTH – Experience in Fiber CRM systems entailing addressing, billing and support will be expected | |
Key Responsibilities – Manage the IT team – Head of internal and external systems integrations ensuring a smooth operation for inward facing systems for internal departments and external facing integrated partners. – Oversee all IT innnovation solutions – Working with the teams to ensure good optimal performance of all network elements – Documentation and reporting | |
